“Growing up on the Faroe Islands and being surrounded by nature has had a clear influence on my way of photographing. I often find myself seeking for those places that are unusual and left behind and this is mostly where the main inspiration sparks from. This feeling of being alone and isolated in a quiet place. In my work I create a visual narrative which is left open for the viewer to interpret. For me it is more about creating a sense of feeling in the imagery in which others may relate to. Something familiar yet strange”
